Are shipping costs included in the price?
Products sold on Poulmart.com do not include shipping costs unless otherwise specified. All the costs are ex-plant. Shipping costs are relatively high for the kind of products that are sold on Poulmart.com. If you need freight or shipping costs, please contact Poulmart.com Support team to help you find out the shipping costs which vary based on the quantity to be shipped, location of the seller plant/warehouse, and where it needs to be shipped.
How Can I get the Shipping Costs for a product?
You can call the customer support number or write to us in email about where you want the product delivered. You can even do it online by placing an order and then writing your comments in that order for freight/shipping costs to the city you want the product to be delivered. We will get back to you with the shipping costs and we will even update the order that will include shipping costs along with the product price. If you are fine with the shipping costs, you can go ahead and make the payments for the purchase and we can then start the order processing to ship the items to you at the earliest.
What is the estimated delivery time?
Due to the nature of the product and logistics involved in delivering a big cargo, it is usually not possible right now for us to give you an exact estimate at the time of making a purchase. We anyway keep you updated about when the item is shipped so that you have a good idea about the day/date it reaches you. We will also inform you any updates from the seller about the shipping process.
Are there any hidden costs (sales tax, octroi etc) on items sold by Sellers on Poulmart?
Products sold on Poulmart.com are exclusive of any taxes. The taxes are added on top of the product costs. This is the normal process followed in this kind of trade. However, most of the products, sold on Poulmart.com, being agricultural and allied items are exempt of tax. That is, they attract no GST or any other tax. However, please note that this information is for guidance only and products sold on our website may include taxes levied as and when Govt. proposes any changes to such taxes or start levying new taxes.
Delivery charges are not hidden charges and are charged (if at all) extra if buyer/customer desires the product to be delivered rather than the buyer/customer collecting it from the plant.
Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?
It may be possible that seller is unable to find a logistic company to ship the product you purchased on Poulmart.com. However, such instances can be considered extremely rare. You can get an idea if the product could be delivered to you beforehand during your communication with the Support team at Poulmart.co
Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on
- Whether the Seller ships to your location
- Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location
- The availability of reliable logistic/transport partners in your location
At times Sellers prefer not to ship to certain locations. This is entirely at their discretion.
Why is the Cash on Delivery (CoD) option not offered in my location?
Due to the nature of the products being sold on Poulmart.com, it is not possible for us to offer Cash on Delivery. An order will get through processing only after the amount has been paid. It can be paid by cheque to our bank account which is provided
I need to return an item, how do I arrange for a pick-up?
Due to the nature of products sold on Poulmart.com, returning a delivered item is handled separately on case to case basis.
What do the different tags like “In Stock”, “Available” mean?
‘In Stock’
For items listed as “In Stock”, Sellers will mention the delivery time based on your location pincode (usually 2-3 business days, 4-5 business days or 4-6 business days in areas where standard courier service is available). For other areas, orders will be sent by Registered Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take 1-2 weeks depending on the location.
‘Available’
The Seller might not have the item in stock but can procure it when an order is placed for the item. The delivery time will depend on the estimated procurement time and the estimated shipping time to your location.
‘Preorder’ or ‘Forthcoming’
Such items are expected to be released soon and can be pre-booked for you. The item will be shipped to you on the day of it’s official release launch and will reach you in 2 to 6 business days. The Preorder duration varies from item to item. Once known, release time and date is mentioned. (Eg. 5th May, August 3rd week)
‘Out of Stock’
Currently, the item is not available for sale. Use the ‘Notify Me’ feature to know once it is available for purchase.
‘Imported’
Sometimes, items have to be sourced by Sellers from outside India. These items are mentioned as ‘Imported’ on the product page and can take at least 10 days or more to be delivered to you.
‘Back In Stock Soon’
The item is popular and is sold out. You can however ‘book’ an order for the product and it will be shipped according to the timelines mentioned by the Seller.
‘Temporarily Unavailable’
The product is currently out of stock and is not available for purchase. The product could to be in stock soon. Use the ‘Notify Me’ feature to know when it is available for purchase.
‘Permanently Discontinued’
This product is no longer available because it is obsolete and/or its production has been discontinued.
Does Poulmart deliver internationally?
As of now, Poulmart doesn’t deliver items internationally.
You will be able to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world with credit/debit cards issued in India and 21 other countries, but please ensure the delivery address is in India.
